WWE luminary Windham Rotunda, also recognised as Bray Wyatt, has tragically passed away due to heart-related complications at the age of 36. The disclosure came from Sean Ross Sapp, a reporter at Fightful.com, who revealed that Rotunda had contracted COVID-19 earlier, which had a detrimental impact on his pre-existing heart issues. Despite initial advancements in his recovery, a fatal heart attack claimed his life.

Sean shared this sombre news, acknowledging the family’s desire for privacy while offering certain clarifications. Tributes poured in from the wrestling community and beyond, highlighting Bray Wyatt’s profound impact. Mick Foley lamented the loss, praising Wyatt’s wrestling innovations, such as adopting the mandible claw as his finishing move. Rotunda’s roots were deeply entrenched in wrestling lineage; his father was the celebrated Mike Rotunda, and he hailed from the prestigious wrestling family, including Blackjack Mulligan as his grandfather and uncles Barry and Kendall Windham.

Beyond wrestling, Rotunda’s athletic prowess shone in football during his high school years. He commenced his college football journey at the College of the Sequoias, later transferring to Troy University.
