As death toll surpasses 10,000, Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada on Tuesday warned that it’s going to be a tough winter amid rising coronavirus infections in the country.
He described the situation as a “Horrific national tragedy” and said, “This sucks. It really, really does”. “It’s frustrating knowing that unless we’re really, really careful, there may not be the kinds of family gatherings we want to have at Christmas,” Trudeau told a news conference.
Spreading optimism, he also said that the situation will be better soon and the government will be there to help people but they must do their part too by limiting the spread of the infection.
