Jeevithapriya K’s life story is one of remarkable resilience, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of success against all odds. Born in a modest village, she grew up with limited exposure to the world beyond her home. Her early life was marked by challenges, as she struggled to balance her education with the pressing responsibilities of supporting her family. Despite being an average student, the harsh realities of life and her family’s dire financial situation pushed her to leave the village while still in her first year of Pre-University Course (P.U.C.).

Leaving her village was not an easy decision, but it was necessary. With the entire family’s welfare resting on her shoulders, Jeevithapriya embarked on a journey that would require immense strength and determination. Despite the financial hardships, she pursued her studies with unwavering passion, relying on God’s grace and the support of friends to complete her education. Understanding that traditional schooling alone wouldn’t suffice to elevate her career, she took the bold step of enrolling in distance education at Annamalai University. Simultaneously, she began working as a school teacher and running a tuition center to cover her educational expenses.

Jeevithapriya’s expertise in customer experience opened doors for her in the telecom industry. Recognizing every opportunity as a stepping stone toward her dream of succeeding in business management and administration, she never let an opportunity slip away. Her professional journey began in an administrative position at a mid-sized company, where she quickly demonstrated her exceptional organizational skills and ability to streamline processes. Her competence did not go unnoticed, and she was soon entrusted with more significant responsibilities.

A pivotal moment in her career came when she joined Le Meridien Cochin as a guest relations executive. This role allowed her to interact with influential figures and provided her with a unique platform to hone her skills. This experience led to her role as a front office executive at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she worked for a year. Despite facing language barriers and disrespect from some, she remained undeterred, focused on her goals and passionate about her career.

Jones Lang LaSalle was instrumental in developing Jeevithapriya’s administrative and management skills. It was also where she met her life partner, and after five years of perseverance, they married. She ensured that personal challenges never impeded her professional growth. Jeevithapriya then joined Cognizant Technologies as an admin executive, where she received comprehensive administrative training and earned multiple promotions.

After moving to Bangalore, she continued her career progression, quickly rising to the position of Admin Officer within a year. Motherhood brought new challenges, but it did not stop her. She later advanced to roles such as Assistant Manager and Manager of Administration at Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd., where she worked for nearly a decade. Her career continued to flourish, with a significant role at Halma India Pvt. Ltd., where her work during the Covid pandemic earned her the prestigious Facility Management Woman of the Year 2021 award.

Today, with nearly 20 years of extensive experience in General Administration, Sourcing & Procurement, Vendor Management, Facility Management, Asset Management, and Personnel Management, Jeevithapriya leads the Facility & Administration department at CDMSMITH Global Services. Her leadership has enhanced operational efficiency and fostered a positive work environment. Her commitment to empowerment is further exemplified by her role as a national council member of the WICCI-Youth & Community Empowerment Council, where she works to inspire and uplift young Indians.
