YouTube restored Mr. Donald Trump’s channel

YouTube has banned the account of Ex- president of US Mr. Donald Trump is now restored. Following a two-year suspension from the video-sharing website, YouTube has now unblocked Donald Trump’s account.

The decision was made in response to decisions made by Twitter which is owned by Elon Musk, and Meta, which also owns Facebook and Instagram.

In January 2021, YouTube prohibited the former US president from uploading videos, citing the channel’s violation of its anti-incitement-of-violence policies. According to the YouTube press account, his account is now restored.

According to a tweet from YouTube, which is owned by Google, the Donald J. Trump channel is now unrestricted and allowed to post new content.

In the days following his supporters’ invasion of the US Capitol in Washington, DC, on January 6, 2021, YouTube previously prohibited Mr. Trump from uploading recordings to their site. As the US Congress attempted to recognize Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential race, dozens of rioters attacked the building.

Trump’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts were all suspended following the rioting. And after that he introduced his own social media Network, Truth Social.

However, Mr. Trump declared his intention to run for US president in 2024 in 2022, and ever since, his accounts on all of these sites have been active again. He has more than 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube, and around 23 million followers on Instagram, 87 millions on Twitter and 34 million on Facebook. But still, it is not confirmed whether he is going to come back to YouTube or not.

Nevertheless, on Friday, he made a post on Facebook for the first time in over two years with a little video of his 2016 winning speech and the message, “I’m back!”
