South Korean actor Park Min Jae has tragically passed away at the age of 32. Known for his notable roles in several popular K-dramas, Park Min Jae had collaborated with some of the biggest names in the South Korean entertainment industry, including Kim Go Eun in the drama Little Women. Reports indicate that Park Min Jae died after suffering a cardiac arrest on November 29, with his agency confirming the heartbreaking news on December 2.
The actor was reportedly on a tour in China when he suddenly collapsed due to the cardiac arrest. His agency, Big Title, shared the devastating news on Instagram, posting a photo of Park Min Jae alongside a tribute message that read, “Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has departed for heaven.” Hwang Ju Hye, CEO of Big Title, also expressed his shock and sorrow over the loss, stating, “It was so sudden and so shocking… The family must be feeling unimaginable sorrow… Min Jae, there’s still so much we wanted to say and do together. I was grateful to have been your representative, even if only for a short time, and I’m deeply sorry. I will never forget the name, Actor Park Min Jae.”
Park Min Jae’s younger brother also shared his grief on social media, posting an emotional message on Instagram. In his post, he mourned the loss of his beloved brother, saying, “My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible will remember my brother. Please understand that I cannot contact everyone individually.” The family has been receiving an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues alike during this difficult time.
The actor’s memorial service is being held at the Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall, with the funeral scheduled for December 4.
