Born in Aurangabad and raised in Kolhapur, Nikhil grew up in an academic home where his parents, both professors at the University of Mumbai, instilled perseverance and purpose. A turning point came when he was caught cheating in an exam the disappointment on his father’s face became his lifelong compass, teaching him to rebuild with honesty and hard work. His mother’s quiet faith later strengthened his resolve, supporting his dream of filmmaking when few believed he could succeed.

Grounded in humility, Nikhil built his path the hard way a self-made man who turned early lessons into lasting success. While studying engineering in Mumbai, he pursued twin passions, films and business, simultaneously. Guided by filmmaker Atul Agnihotri, he entered the world of films during the making of Hello (2005), adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s One Night @ the Call Center. Around the same time, he started Urja Petroleum, a fuel station near Aurangabad and Urja Transport, which became a profitable venture.

As CEO of Reel Life Production Pvt. Ltd., Nikhil has produced Blockbuster Hindi films including Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor; Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif; and Farrey (2023), which earned Alizeh the Filmfare Award for Best Debut. Bodyguard became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2011, while Bharat ranked among 2019’s top earners proof of his ability to unite creativity with commerce.

An alumnus of the New York Film Academy, Los Angeles, and the London School of Business Administration (United Kingdom), Nikhil has represented Indian cinema at festivals in Busan (South Korea), Berlin (Germany), Cannes (France), and the American Film Festival (USA). Beyond entertainment, he ventured into retail with NS Retails, operating Being Human Clothing outlets across Pune, Nagpur, Surat, and Indore among the highest-performing stores nationwide.

Taking his vision global, Nikhil founded NNKK Global in Dubai, UAE a diversified enterprise spanning Creative, Arts & Entertainment Services, IT Consultancy, and Medical Facilitation. The company reflects his knack for blending creativity with business intelligence. A keen student of fundamental and technical analysis, he approaches investing with the same precision methodical, patient and research-driven. His conviction-led strategies have consistently outperformed markets, earning him a reputation for clarity and foresight.
