Lauren Goodger, a reality television actress, confirmed the death of her infant daughter.
Before passing away on Friday at the age of two days old, Ms. Goodger claimed that her child, called Lorena, was born “with no pregnancy or labour difficulties.”
The reality television personality, who rose to popularity on The Only Way is Essex, claimed to be “broken.”
Ms. Goodger stated in an Instagram post that words can’t adequately express how a mother feels upon losing her child.
The child’s death cause has not been made public.
Ms. Goodger, 35, announced her pregnancy in January to her 750,000 Instagram followers. Larose, her firstborn, was born in July 2021.
Ms. Goodger expressed her excitement for the delivery in a previous post dated June 28 by saying, “It’s another new chapter of my life. Time goes swiftly, make the most of it.”
She was the most gorgeous, healthy baby I’ve ever seen, much like her sister, Ms. Goodger, wrote on Sunday.
“I don’t get it because she was wonderful and neither she nor I had any flaws. I’ll never be able to move on from this, but I’ll learn to live each day knowing that Lorena is always with me and that I shall see her again.”
Because “we have a lot of grieving to do,” the celebrity urged that cameras respect her privacy.
In 2010, Ms. Goodger became a founding cast member of the ITV reality series.
On Goodger’s Instagram post, thousands of comments were left, many of them condolences from other Towie cast members.
“Oh beautiful, heartbroken for you, giving you courage and love and hoping you get the respect and privacy you need to grieve,” wrote Danielle Armstrong.
Amy Childs, a former member of the show’s original cast, wrote: “Sending you love Lauren xxxx.”
