As India’s infrastructure ambitions continue to expand at a rapid pace, engineering-led organisations with strong execution capabilities are playing a critical role in shaping the country’s development priorities. Anirudh Kala, an alumnus of IIT Bombay, is among the leaders contributing to this transformation as the Founder and CEO of Elstellar International Private Limited, a fast-growing engineering and infrastructure firm headquartered in Dehradun. With academic exposure spanning XLRI Jamshedpur, IIFT Delhi, and Washington University in St. Louis, Kala brings a combination of technical expertise and structured leadership to India’s infrastructure sector.
Kala was recently recognised among the 40 Under 40 Industry Leaders 2025, acknowledging his role in strengthening delivery standards and execution quality within India’s built-environment ecosystem.
Elstellar International was established to address long-standing gaps in infrastructure execution, particularly related to quality assurance, professionalism, and timely project delivery. The company operates on a framework where commitment, competence, and credibility form the foundation of every project. Under Kala’s leadership, Elstellar has adopted a systems-driven approach focused on accountability, engineering precision, and disciplined execution.
The company delivers end-to-end solutions across roads, bridges, structural works, pre-engineered buildings, and integrated infrastructure systems. Backed by a team of young engineers and supported by senior advisors, Elstellar has executed projects across complex and challenging environments. Its work is trusted by public agencies, PSUs, global engineering firms, and private sector organisations.
Among the notable projects in Elstellar’s portfolio is its involvement in the Kedarnath Redevelopment Project, executed under extreme high-altitude conditions. The project was completed with a focus on resilience and precision and received recognition from authorities. Elstellar has also strengthened its engineering capabilities through a strategic partnership with France-based Taree Armee, enabling access to advanced technologies in slope protection, ropeway infrastructure, and patented structural solutions.
As part of its expansion strategy, Elstellar is establishing a four-acre high-production manufacturing facility in Uttarakhand. The facility is designed to manufacture pre-engineered building structures, crash barriers, border security fencing, Bailey bridges, and RDSO-approved railway components, marking the company’s entry into defence and mission-critical manufacturing. The initiative aligns with India’s focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing and infrastructure reliability.
Looking ahead, Kala envisions Elstellar emerging as one of India’s recognised engineering and defence manufacturing enterprises. The company’s roadmap includes integrating automation into construction workflows, scaling high-precision manufacturing, and developing a robust engineering talent ecosystem. Beyond business growth, Kala remains committed to mentoring emerging founders in advanced manufacturing and engineering entrepreneurship. From his early journey in the small town of Roorkee to leading a fast-growing infrastructure company, his professional trajectory reflects execution-driven leadership and long-term commitment to national infrastructure development.
