Warner Bros. responds to Batwoman accusations with Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose’s assertions that working conditions on the set of Batwoman were bad to have been refuted by Warner Bros. After only one season, the actress exited the show, which premiered on the CW network in 2019 and is broadcast on E4 in the United Kingdom.

Rose posted a number of complaints of abuse, neglect, and bad working conditions on her Instagram storey on Wednesday.

After receiving complaints regarding Rose’s behaviour, Warner Bros. announced that she would not be hired for a second season.

“Revisionist history… targeted at the producers, cast and crew, network, and studio,” the firm said of Rose’s narrative.

Rose earlier stated that she departed the show owing to a mix of on-set injuries and the production’s damage from the Covid-19 outbreak. Javicia Leslie, who is also presently appearing in the third season, took her place for the second season.

Rose, on the other hand, has published a 10-page Instagram storey detailing several complaints regarding Badwoman’s working circumstances, accusing several senior officials of poor or abusive behaviour.

“Stop asking” if she’d return to the “terrible show,” she said, adding, “I wouldn’t return for any amount of money, nor did I quit.”

They were the ones who wrecked [the character] Kate Kane and Batwoman, not me. I obeyed commands, and I knew I’d have to sign up my rights if I wanted to stay. “

She said that numerous people involved in the project, including herself, a personal assistant, and a crew member who had third-degree burns, had suffered catastrophic injuries.

Rose admitted to “fighting people on set,” but explained that she did so because she ‘wanted safety.’

She reportedly accused her co-star, Dougray Scott, of “hurting a female stunt double” and shouting at women on set.

“I fully and completely dispute the slanderous and destructive charges made against me by [Rose]; they are wholly made up and never happened,” Scott said in a statement to media outlets like The Wrap.

“As revealed by Warner Bros. Television, they decided not to exercise the option to hire Ruby for season two of Batwoman due to repeated complaints regarding her workplace behaviour,” says the statement.
