Foxconn to shift iPad production from china for the first time says reports

As per reports Apple supplier, Foxconn is shifting the manufacturing of Macbook and iPad from China to Vietnam at Apple’s request. The reports said that apple requested moving out from China to Vietnam to reduce the impact of the Sino-US trade war. This will mark the first time when iPads will be assembled out of china, Foxconn issued a statement declining any comment on the matter calling it a matter of commercial sensitivity. Foxconn is building its assembly lines in Vietnam for Apple’s iPad tablet and Macbook laptop. It is supposed to go online in the first half of 2021.
